Google Play declaration, explained
Data safety
This page states the same facts as the Data safety section of the TourPulse listing on Google Play. If the two ever disagree, tell us at privacy@tour-pulse.app.
Member data never leaves the phone
Everything you type or import about travellers is stored in the app's private storage on your device and is not transmitted:
- Member names and Arabic names
- Passport IDs, birth dates and gender
- Phone numbers and email addresses you enter
- Tour titles and descriptions
- Check-in sessions and who was present or absent
What the app collects

"Shared" means passed to a third party for its own purposes. Firebase processes this data on our behalf; it is not sold or used for advertising.
What the app does not collect
Name, Email address, Phone number, Address, Location, Contacts, Photos and videos, Files, Advertising ID, Financial information, Health information, Messages.
Security practices
- Data in transit: the only network traffic is to Firebase, over TLS.
- Data at rest: the database is an app-private file protected by Android's app sandbox. It is not separately encrypted. Use a screen lock.
- Backups: Android may include the app's data in the backup of your own Google account if Android Backup is turned on.
- Deletion: delete records in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything. For diagnostic data held by Firebase, contact us.
- No account: there is no login, so there is no password to leak and nothing to reset.
Permissions
- Camera: to scan QR codes during check-in. Frames are processed on the device and not stored.
- Internet: for Firebase crash reports and analytics only.
- Files: only through the system picker, to read an Excel file you choose and to save the template where you choose.
